-Best Single Family Custom Home
2023- Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association
Joe and Laura wanted to build their dream home on property they owned in East Greenbush. Situated on 30 acres, this 5,800 custom home was designed to give them everything they could imagine while taking full advantage of the beautiful scenery surrounding it. With an open floor plan, the family room and kitchen are centrally located with large windows viewing a private pond located on property. You walk out onto a large deck and screen porch surrounded by sprawling forestry and enjoy the space finished with Doug Fir trim work and Trex decking. On the inside each space was carefully designed to provide a unique aesthetic and combine modern features with a rustic feel. Check out the gallery below to see the thoughtful design and creative details of this award winning home.

-Best New Construction Basement
2020- Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association
This basement was part of John and Lauren's Lakehouse built on Copake Lake. It was designed as a guest area they could invite family to stay and enjoy some time away at the lake. It is complete with a large family room, heated tile floors and a custom built in bunk area perfect for giving guests a feeling of home away from home.
-Best New Construction Powder Room
2020- Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association
Also part of John and Lauren's Lake House this powder room was designed to give a traditional farmhouse feel to a home with a lot of modern finish.
-Best Kitchen Remodel over $75,000
2019- Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association
Sara and Jay wanted to renovate their home to bring in the natural light from their back yard and combine the large space between their family room and kitchen. We achieved this by removing walls, adding windows and reconfiguring their currently layout to include updated cabinetry and a larger kitchen island. With designs by Designers Studio in Saratoga we took this once simple and outdated space to the next level.
-Best Bathroom Remodel over $40,000
2017- Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association
Richard and Laurie wanted to brighten and modernize their Master Bedroom, Master Bathroom, and Loft. We fully renovated their second floor, reconfiguring the layout, adding windows and doors, and incorporating sleek, modern finishes. The Master Bathroom now features a floating island vanity, a custom shower, and walnut paneling with built-in cabinetry in the closets. Frameless doors and large windows were installed throughout, creating a clean and streamlined look while maximizing views of the surrounding landscape.
-Most Innovative Remodel
2016- Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association
Mike was looking to bring an innovative and modern feel to his house. Working with designer Eric Davenport of LEAP Architecture we brought an ultra-modern California feel to this 1950's ranch. By adding a second floor, removing walls and installing full length windows, we created a bright and open feel to this once compartmentalized house. Each room was given its own unique features including a floating kitchen island, an indoor/outdoor see through fireplace, walk through shower and custom built in cabinetry. The creative details and streamline design make this one of our most modern projects to date.
-Most Creative Remodel Feature
2016- Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association
James and Heather added this Accucraft gas fireplace to their Latham home. This unit is ten feet long and weighs in at 3,000 pounds. C & J installed beams in the subfloor to support the weight and completely enclosed the unit with tile and a quartz top. We also added an area for the television and entertainment center.
