Mark and Bea's Renovation

Mark and Bea wanted to modernize their 1890s farmhouse while preserving its charm and the stunning Hudson River views. Working with designs from Balzer and Tuck Architecture, we renovated the home to fix structural and design issues. The front entry was reworked to fit the style and layout better, while beams and columns were added to improve the structural integrity of the original house. We crafted custom trim and built-ins to maintain the home’s original character. We updated all bathrooms with custom showers and tile work and installed a geothermal heating and cooling system, solar panels, and spray foam insulation for efficiency. Smart technology was integrated for remote system control. Outside, with help from Young Landscapes LLC, we added retaining walls, patios, underground drainage, and a hardscape driveway to enhance outdoor use and address water concerns.
